Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2, 2026

Welcome to appclap. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at appclap.ai (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Who we are

The Service is operated by appclap.ai (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@appclap.ai.

What appclap does

appclap is an AI-powered discovery tool that helps you find SaaS and web apps based on a plain-language description of what you need. Recommendations are generated by large language models (currently Anthropic’s Claude) and supplemented by our own crawled and curated index of apps.

AI disclaimer — accuracy of results

Results on appclap are produced by AI and from data we crawl, both of which can be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Pricing, features, availability, and other details change frequently. You should always verify the details on the actual app’s website before making any decision or commitment. appclap is a starting point, not a definitive source of truth. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the information shown.

Not professional advice

Information on appclap is for general informational purposes only. It is not financial, legal, business, or any other professional advice. Use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Submit false, misleading, defamatory, or malicious content via the submit, report, or feedback forms.
  • Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the Service without our prior written permission.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, security measures, or access non-public parts of the Service.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Service (compliant search-engine crawlers excepted).
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code or underlying ideas of the Service.
  • Use the Service in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interferes with other users.

We may suspend or block access if you violate these Terms.

Content you submit

When you submit an app, report wrong information, or send feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, modify, and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You confirm that you have the right to submit the content (i.e. it’s not someone else’s confidential or copyrighted material). Don’t submit anything you wouldn’t want made public — we may incorporate it into our index.

Third-party apps and links

appclap displays information about and links to third-party apps and websites. We don’t control those third parties and aren’t responsible for their content, privacy practices, pricing changes, availability, or any actions they take. Your use of any third-party app or service is solely at your own risk and subject to that third party’s own terms.

Affiliate and monetization disclosure

appclap is currently free to use. In the future, we may earn affiliate commissions when you sign up for an app via certain outbound links. If we do, this will not influence our rankings — recommendations are based on relevance to your query, never on who pays. We’ll disclose any affiliate relationships clearly when they apply.

Intellectual property

The appclap name, logo, design, and original code are our intellectual property and may not be copied, modified, or used for commercial purposes without our written permission. App names, logos, descriptions, and other materials about third-party apps shown in our index remain the property of their respective owners; we display them for the purposes of comparison, discovery, and commentary.

No warranty

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don’t promise the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at any particular time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service — even if we’ve been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed $100 (one hundred U.S. dollars) or the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold appclap harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, particularly if you violate these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time.

Changes to the Service

appclap is an evolving product. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we may modify or discontinue the Service in whole or in part.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the competent courts of Ukraine, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

General

  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior understandings.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor (e.g. in connection with a merger or acquisition).
